Flu season is well underway and our busy schedules leave little time for 100% preparedness 100% of the time! Following a few quick tricks can substantially reduce the amount of allergens and bacteria that build up in our homes.

Spray a micro-fiber or cotton cloth with any bacteria fighting spray or use our Simple Sanitizer recipe to create your own green product.  With your towels lightly dampened wipe the following ‘high traffic’ areas at least 1x a week to nip any bacteria build up in the butt!

  • Light Switches
  • Door Knobs
  • Toilet Handles
  • Cabinet Handles (Bathroom & Kitchen)
  • Faucets/Handles (Bathroom & Kitchen)

You can even nominate the kids to a friendly game of Germ Fighting to take some of the load off of your shoulders!

Use our Dashingly simple recipe to inexpensively and quickly make your own Simple Sanitizer!

Simple Sanitizer :    Mix 2 cups of white vinegar, 2 cups of hot water, 1 Tbsp. of Rubbing Alcohol and 1 tsp. of your favorite essential oil (if desired; Dashing Maids love to use Lavender) into a recycled or new spray bottle for easy use.
